On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians in the Old City of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers, stationed at the permanent Abu Ar-Reesh roadblock in the Old City, stopped two Palestinians and abducted them after cuffing and blindfolding them.
The two Palestinians remained unidentified; they were detained at the roadblock before the soldiers took them to an unknown destination.
The Palestinians in Hebron’s Old City, especially in areas near the Ibrahimi Mosque, are facing escalating Israeli violations and restrictions, especially after the soldiers closed and isolated the area and denied the Palestinians access to the Ibrahimi Mosque to allow groups of illegal colonizers into the holy site.
