One Israeli soldier was killed and seven others were injured in ongoing clashes between Hezbollah resistance fighters and the Israeli army in the Beit Ejbeel village in southern Lebanon Wednesday morning.

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that its troops are controlling the village, though local sources from the area reported that clashes between resistance fighter and the army have not stopped and the fighting was described as fierce.

Hezbollah said its fighters destroyed two Israeli tanks, killing one soldiers and injuring seven others.
