On Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinian children in Jericho, Tubas, and Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Mohammad Ayman Khalil, 17, from the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp south of Jericho, after stopping him at a military roadblock near the city’s southern entrance.
The sources added that, for the third day, the army continued its tight siege on Jericho by installing more roadblocks, resulting in extended traffic jams as the soldiers searched cars and interrogated dozens of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a high school student, Shadi Othman Sbeih, from the Al-Aqaba village east of the city.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted three children, Abdullah Bassam Amarna, Abdullah Nasser Amarna, and Laith Jaber Hamarsha, from Ya’bad town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after stopping them at Mabo Dotan military roadblock near Ya’bad.
In related news, a young Palestinian man was injured in Nabi Elias village, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, after an illegal Israeli colonizer rammed him with his car and fled.
