On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers demolished a commercial facility in the Wadi Al-Hummus neighborhood in Sur Baher town and Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
Media sources said several army vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Wadi Al-Hummus in Sur Vaher, east of Jerusalem, and demolished an under-construction commercial building.
They added that the building, owned by Akram Amira, had construction materials and supplies and said the soldiers did not allow the Palestinians to empty it before demolishing the property.
The soldiers also invaded Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and demolished a wooden room owned by Salah Hijazi in the Al-Abbasiyya neighborhood.
The army claims the City Council in occupied Jerusalem did not license the demolished structures.
It is worth mentioning that, over the last two days, Israeli soldiers demolished several homes in Jerusalem, especially in Jabal Al-Mukabber, as part of an Israeli colonialist plan to demolish fourteen Palestinian homes.
Also Wednesday, Israeli soldiers demolished two Palestinian homes in Beit Jala city and the Al-Walaja village, northwest of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
On Sunday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Jabal al-Mukaber, in the southeastern part of the Jerusalem municipality, with an armored Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer and demolished a two-story home belonging to the Matar family, rendering eight family members homeless and wounding one family member who tried to protest the demolition.
