Israeli air force jet fighters continued their air strikes Monday on the eastern areas of Lebanon, only hours after the Israel military announced it will suspend its bombardment on the south of Lebanon for 48 hours.
Lebanese sources said the roads near the border with Syria were hit by Israeli air attacks several times during the today, though Israel denies the attacks.
Israeli sources clamed the attacks had taken place before the suspension period.
