Early on Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and surrounded a building in the Sufian Street area, leading to protests before shooting five Palestinians, including one who suffered life-threatening wounds.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Nablus office of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the medics treated five Palestinians who were shot with live fire.
Jibril added that the medics rushed the wounded young men, including the one who suffered profoundly serious wounds in the abdomen, to hospitals in Nablus.

The medics also treated dozens of Palestinians who suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation, many of whom were in their homes on Sufian Street.
Also, Palestinian fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers during the invasion that lasted for more than two hours.

On Sunday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of a child, Qussai Radwan Waked, 14, who was shot by Israeli soldiers at noon in Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and added that the soldiers also injured two Palestinians.
