On Tuesday dawn, many armored Israeli military vehicles invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp in Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, shot a young man, and abducted five Palestinians, including three siblings.
Media sources said the army surrounded one home in the refugee camp, leading to protests, before storming the property and abducting five Palestinians, including three siblings.
The abducted Palestinians are Ibrahim Al-Alam, Shadi Kamal, Yasser Kamal, Yamen Kamal, and Mohammad Bassam Hmediat.
The army also fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at Palestinians who protested the invasion before shooting one with live fire and causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Furthermore, the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics and ambulances from entering the refugee camp during the invasion.
Palestinian sources in Jericho said the soldiers exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters during the invasion.
