On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man at the entrance of the Al-Biereh city in the central West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed Mohammad Emad Hassanein, 21, after shooting him with a live round in the head.
The Palestinian was marching with many young men, protesting the ongoing Israeli invasion and offensive on Jenin in the northern West Bank, when the soldiers attacked them with a barrage of live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
It is worth mentioning that Hassanein, from Gaza but lived with his family in Ramallah, was a former political prisoner, and was recovering from gunshot wounds he suffered before the soldiers abducted him on May 15, 2019.
At the time, the soldiers shot him in the right leg, causing serious muscle and nerve damage, and he has since been receiving treatment to regain the full function of his leg.
