On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured five Palestinians and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Many Palestinians and international peace activists marched from the center of the town, chanting for liberation and calling for ending the illegal Israeli colonialist activities, the ongoing occupation, and aggression.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot five Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation before the medics treated them.
The soldiers also tried to ambush and abduct some protesters, but their hideouts were soon discovered.
Last week, the soldiers attacked the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, and injured many Palestinians.
The Palestinians hold weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum, demanding the army to reopen the town’s main entrance, blockaded 19 years ago to allow easy access to illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim colony, built on stolen Palestinians.
In related news, the soldiers injured many Palestinians and internationals, nonviolently protesting against the illegal Israeli colonialist activities in Burqa town, northwest of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern West Bank.
