Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, twenty one Palestinian men, including one who was shot with live rounds, and former prisoners, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Israeli forces stormed the town of Saida, northeast of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers opened fire with live rounds, shooting and injuring Anwar Essam Adel Abdel-Ghani, 20, before they abducted him. The young man’s condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
Another youth, identified as Ahmed Shafiq Adel Abdel-Ghani, 20, was abducted from Saida town, while a former prisoner, identified as Ammar Manna, 60, was abducted after soldiers broke into and searched his home southeast of the city.
At dawn Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Jaba’, southwest of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, invaded and searched several civilian homes and abducted Islam Nazih Abu Aoun, Izz al-Din Abd al-Salam Ghannam, and Najm al-Din Mahmoud Fashafsha.
Meanwhile, soldiers invaded the nearby Ajjah village, and abducted Maher Abdel Latif al-Akhras, after breaking into and searching his home.
Social media video showed that armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.
Northwest of the city, the army invaded the homes of Sadiq Hassan Abu al-Khair, in Silat al-Harithiya village, and Mamoun Muhammad Freihat, in Al-Yamoun town, before abducting them.
In the Nablus governorate, Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, four Palestinians, including two former prisoners, and stormed Beita town, south of the city, invading several homes and shops, confiscating surveillance recordings.
Soldiers invaded Nablus city and abducted former prisoner Saeed Bakr Bilal and Amid Hilal Hijazi, after breaking into and searching their homes.
In the town of Tel, southwest of the city, soldiers stormed the home Bilal Saleh Ishtayyeh, before abducting him, and in Burqa village, northwest of Nablus, soldiers abducted former prisoner Ibrahim Majed Douglas, after raiding and searching his home.
Israeli forces invaded and searched, on Wednesday, the home of former prisoner Ihsan Mahmoud Al-Rimawi, 65, in the village of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank, before abducting him.
Meanwhile, in the Al-‘Isawiya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, two Palestinian young men, closed the entrance to the town, blocking traffic in both directions, in addition to storming the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of the city.
Soldiers invaded and searched the homes of Adam Al-Qawasmi and Fathi Abu Rumaila, in Al-‘Isawiya, before abducting them.

In the southern part of the West Bank, soldiers abducted four Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes in the Hebron governorate.
Soldiers abducted a university student, Ibrahim Farid Nawaja and Khalil Walid Al-Shraiteh from Yatta town, south of the city, Ali Awni Abu Zalta, 26, from Halhul, Abd Arar from Beit Ummar town, both north of Hebron, and Bahaa Al-Sharawneh, from the town of Dura city, to the southwest.
