On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot six Palestinians with live fire and gas bombs during processions near the perimeter fence in the eastern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the Palestinians marched on their lands near the fence, marking the eighteenth anniversary of the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
The sources added that the residents carried Palestinian flags and chanted for ongoing resistance until liberation and independence.
Israeli soldiers across the perimeter fence fired many live rounds and high-velocity gas bombs at the Palestinians.
Medical sources said the soldiers injured six Palestinians, including a police officer, near the fence east of Gaza City.
They added that some of the wounded were shot with live fire and that the police officer was shot with a high-velocity gas bomb in the head.
On Wednesday, six Palestinians were killed and twenty-five injured as a result of an unidentified explosive device where dozens of Palestinians gathered along the border fence, east of Gaza City.
The Palestinians killed in the incident were identified as Nasser Rami Nofal, 18, Ahmad Ezzeddin Jabari, Muhammad Omar Qaddoum, Nasser Nofal, Fares Matar and Baraa Wael Al-Zard, 18, who is reported to be the son of a Hamas leader.
