Palestinian resistance fighters fired home made Qassam rockets at the southern Israeli town of Sederot, lightly wounding two residents, midnight Friday.
The first shell landed near a house, where one adult and child recieved slight injuries from shrapnel, reports say.
The Israeli military operation in the nearby Gaza strip have claimed the lives of 9 residents, among them, one child.
