A Palestinian young man died, on Monday, six days after he was critically injured by illegal Israeli colonizers last week, in the village of Ras Karkar, northwest of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.

It was announced today that Ahmad Nofal, 23, succumbed to critical gunshot wounds sustained in the evening of October 24, when Israeli colonizers opened fire at a vehicle carrying four young men in the village.

Colonizers rammed the vehicle, and when it overturned, they fired live rounds at the young men, shooting Nofal in the head, causing a very serious injury.

After a number of surgeries, and 6 days of artificial respiration, the young man succumbed to his wounds in the Palestine Medical Complex .

A large number of mourners gathered today in front of the hospital to receive the body of the slain young man, marching to the village of Ras Karkar, to the young man’s family home, where they said their final goodbyes.

The funeral procession continued to the village mosque where participants performed the funeral prayer, before burying him in the village cemetery.

On Saturday, an illegal Israeli colonizer shot and killed a Palestinian man while he was picking olives on his land, in the central West Bank town of As-Sawiya, east of Salfit.
