On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man and abducted at least ten, including a father and two of his sons, after several Israeli military vehicles invaded Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded many neighborhoods in the city, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man in the leg in the Eastern Neighborhood of Jenin and abducted two young men from their homes; the two are former political prisoners Mohannad Shehab Sanouri and Majd Nasser Al-Jazara.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Walid Jalamna and his sons Soheib and Qoteiba, in addition to Abu Odai Sheikh after they assaulted his son, Mohammad, and abducted Ahmad Ayman Jom’a, Ahmad Walid Jalbouni and Qussai Al-Hashees.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded dozens of homes in several neighborhoods in Jenin and deployed sharpshooters on rooftops.
During the invasion, the army bulldozed streets and junctions, especially near the Jenin refugee camp.
Schools in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp had to postpone the start of the school day to ensure the safety of the students and to avoid having them go to school during the Israeli military invasion.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers abducted at dawn, at least 46 Palestinains, including several workers from Gaza, in various parts of the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem; fourteen of the abducted Palestinians were taken from their homes in several parts of Hebron, and fourteen from several parts of Ramallah.
