On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and violently searched hundreds of homes across the occupied West Bank, abducted at least seventy-one Palestinians after assaulting many of them, and shot two.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, searched and ransacked many homes before using some rooftops as firing posts and monitoring towers, and abducted four Palestinians, Eyad Fuad Hamamra, Majd Kamal Za’oul, Mustafa Mojahed Hamamra, and Zeid Mohammad Sabateen.
The Village Council in Husan said it coordinated with the Education Directorate before delaying the beginning of the school day for one hour to ensure the students’ safety. The army also imposed a tight siege on Husan.
In the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded and ransacked the family of Mo’taz Zawahra, who was killed by the army on October 13, 2015, and drew Israeli flags on the property.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, the soldiers ransacked dozens of homes in several parts of the governorate and abducted 25 Palestinians.
The abductees are Rami Mahmoud Rajoub, Salim Rajoub, Anas Mofeed Abu Za’nouna, Jihad Abdul-Aziz Shahateet, Odai Ibrahim Sharawna, Husam Abu Ras, Ahmad Salama Abu Ras, Mofeed Anas Hamdan, Abdul-Rahmad Hamdan and his sons, Qusai and Muneef, Ibrahim Amayra, Firas Tbeish, Hussein Tbeish and Amin As-Sous from Doura town, Ahmad Na’el Asafra, Ahmad Issa Zohour, Mohannad Hashem Zohour, Zaher Mahmoud Zohour, Abdul-Rahman Mohammad Zohour, Younis Ismael Zohour and Aref Khalil Asafra from Beit Kahil, Shadi Abdullah Ghneimat from Surif, Mahmoud Mousa Masalma from Beit Awwa, in addition to Mohammad Younis Makhamra from Yatta.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Kafr Dan village, west of the city, and took measurements of the three-story home of the parents’ home of two detainees, Abdullah and Abdul-Aziz Yahia Hamed Masad, in preparation for demolishing the property.
The soldiers also invaded and searched several homes in the village and abducted Mohammad Nidal Mer’ey.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Kafr Ra’ey town, southwest of Jenin, searched homes, and abducted Mohammad Walid Jawabra, Mohammad Yasser Sheikh Ibrahim, in addition to four siblings, Hisham, Humam, Husam, and Essam Nabil Thiab.
The army also invaded the villages and towns of Ti’inik, Rommana, Zabbouba, Kafrit, Kafr Qud, Ya’bad, and Arraba and fired live rounds at protesters in Ya’bad, Al-Yamoun and Silat al-Harithiya.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West bank, the soldiers stormed and ransacked several homes before abducting Ibrahim Husam Suwwan, Anas Birri, Bakr Birri, Zeid Birri, and Nael Birri from Immatain town, Islam Amin Tawil and Adham Ezzeddin Tawil from Far’ata village, in addition to Ismael Amin Tawil and Adam Ezzeddin Tawil from Far’ata, east of Qalqilia.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted eighteen Palestinians, including one worker from Gaza, during massive invasions and violent searches of homes in the Ramallah and Al-Biereh Governorate in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Qusra village, south of the city, caused excessive damage to homes, smashed their front doors, and ransacked the properties before abducting Mohammad Khaldoun Sbeih Odah.
Furthermore, the army invaded Yasid village north of Nablus, searched a few homes, and abducted Hani Ghaleb Thaher.
In the Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus, the soldiers abducted Karam Ghassan Oweis and Nathmi Oweis.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Shams Abu Haseen and Adam Hazem from the Ein Al-Sultan Street area in the city.
Also at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Far’a refugee camp south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part, searched and ransacked many homes, abducted one Palestinian, and shot two during ensuing protests.
