As the Israeli onslaught on the Palestinians in the devastated, impoverished, and destroyed Gaza Strip entered its 90th day on Thursday, Israeli missiles killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds, bringing the number of casualties to more than 22,313 in addition to at least 57,256 injured since October 7, 2023.
The Israeli army continued its bombing and shelling of vast, heavily populated areas across the coastal enclave, bombing homes, schools, and various buildings used by the Palestinians as make-shift shelters.
The Health Ministry said, “The Israeli army committed ten massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza, killing 128 Palestinians and wounding 261, mostly women and children, in just 24 hours.”
The Israeli army fired barrages of missiles and shells at large areas of the Al-Boreij and the Al-Maghazi refugee camps and Deir Al-Balah city in central Gaza, in addition to large areas of Rafah and Khan Younis in the southern part of the coastal enclave.
Palestinian families and residents were targeted by missiles and shells while fleeing the Al-Maghazi and Al-Boreij refugee camps and Salahuddin Street in Deir Al-Balah.
Al-Jazeera said an Israeli bombing of a home west of the Deir Al-Balah refugee camp led to the death of at least ten Palestinians and added that the army fired missiles and shells at the Zawaida area.
In addition, at least two Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured, in addition to scores who remain missing, largely under the rubble of bombarded homes in Al-Maghazi.

Despite Israel’s ongoing offensive, the massive bombing and shelling attacks across the coastal region, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and various armed resistance groups are still not only engaging in direct battles with the invading Israeli forces but also remain capable of firing missiles and shells into various Israeli areas.
The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera said sirens were sounded in Asqalan and various Israeli towns in the southern areas, especially near the Gaza Strip, after Palestinian fighters fired dozens of shells from Gaza.
The Israeli army also admitted it encountered deaths and injuries among its soldiers, in addition to the destruction of tanks and armored vehicles, by Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip.
In a joint statement and a video from Khan Younis, both the Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and the Al-Quds Brigades of the Islamic Jihad showed their fighters preparing and targeting Israeli tanks and soldiers in the Gaza Strip.
