Israeli forces carried out an attack, on Friday, against the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, injuring seven young men and abducting one.

On Saturday morning Israeli soldiers stormed the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas, and later the city of Tubas, sparking protests.

Military vehicles including a bulldozer, stormed the camp from the Hamra military checkpoint and later additional military reinforcements invaded.

A reconnaissance drone flew in the airspace over the camp, while an infantry unit and sharpshooters were deployed in the area.

An occupation bulldozer caused destruction to shops in the center of the camp, while explosions and gunfire could be heard.

Armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, while soldiers shot and injured several Palestinian young men.

In the morning, ambulance crews treated two injuries in the field, one who sustained a shrapnel injury from live ammunition in the hand, while another young man suffered a sprained ankle as a result of a fall.

Media sources said that the army stopped and searched an ambulance and obstructed the work of medical teams, while a military vehicle rammed an ambulance.

Later, it was reported that a military force invaded the city of Tubas from the direction of Al-Far’a camp, along with reinforcements from the “Tayasir” military roadblock northeast of the city.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, soldiers invaded many homes in the city and abducted Ahmed Yahya Suleiman Abu Bishara, 25.

Five hours later, occupation forces continued to attack the Al-Far’a refugee camp, shooting five Palestinian young men with live rounds.

Media sources said that the army shot three young men in the hands, one in the shoulder, and one in the foot.

It was added that soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes, and detained their inhabitants.
