Updated: On Wednesday night, several Israeli military jeeps invaded Betunia town, west of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank, and Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, and abducted three young men after assaulting one of them.
Media sources said the soldiers stopped a young man and ordered him to hand them his ID card, and just as he was doing so, the soldiers started beating him up.
They added that the soldiers then abducted the injured young man, whose name remains unknown, and took him to an unknown destination.
The soldiers also closed streets in and around the town, stopped and searched many cars, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Azzoun, east of Qalqilia, the soldiers abducted Samer Mahmoud Shbeita and Yousef Mizyed Salem, at a roadblock the army installed near a mosque in the center of the town, after invading and closing the area.
In related news, the soldiers invaded the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, leading to protests, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades.
On Wednesday afternoon, Israeli soldiers invaded many parts of the occupied West Bank, and abducted three Palestinians, while Israeli colonizers, accompanied by a senior official, invaded a Bedouin community near Jericho.

On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes across the occupied West Bank, abducted many Palestinians, and detonated two homes, leading to protests.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said, Wednesday, April 17 which is also the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, that Israel is holding captive more than 9,500 Palestinians, including 200 children and 80 women.

The PPS added that among the detainees are more than 3,660 who were slapped with arbitrary Administrative Detention orders, holding them captive without charges of trial.
