Early on Sunday, the Israeli army invaded the West Bank city of Jenin using dozens of armored vehicles, local Palestinian security sources confirmed.
The sources said that scores of Israeli army tanks and armored vehicles stormed the city and were deployed in numerous streets.
Israeli soldiers opened fire and and threw sound grenades at Palestinian residents’ houses. They inflicted panic, but no causalities were reported.
The soldiers also installed several military checkpoints throughout the city, especially in Nablus Sreet, to the south of the city, blocking the movement of locals and vehicles.
Meanwhile this morning , the Israeli settlers in the West Bank city of Hebron, attacked a Palestinian resident of the Kherbat Sewaisa neighborhood, east of the city.
Eyewitnesses said that a group of gunmen settlers from a nearby Israeli settler outpost, beat resident Khalil Alnawaj’a,55, severely, in front of the Israeli soldiers.
In the meantime, the Israeli army held up tens of Palestinian vehicles in the north of West Bank town of Tubas.
