On Monday, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinians, including a child, and invaded several regions of the occupied West Bank.
In the northeastern part of the West Bank, occupation forces stormed the village of Ramin, southeast of Tulkarem, on Monday afternoon, broke into a Palestinian citizen’s home, and subjected him to interrogation.
Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday afternoon, a Palestinian young man at a military roadblock northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the young man, Fadi Al-Sayes, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp when he passed through the Deir Sharaf military roadblock.
Sources added that the army stormed the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and erected flying military roadblocks near the towns of Ya’bad and Arraba, west and southwest of Jenin.
Meanwhile, in the morning, Israeli forces invaded the village of Kardala, northeast of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and conducted a search of “illegal” vehicles.
On Monday evening, soldiers invaded the village of Ajjul, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinians.
Media sources said that occupation forces opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens and their homes; no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday evening, a Palestinian shepherd after storming the southern West Bank city of Hebron and Masafer Yatta, south of the city.
In Masafer Yatta, soldiers abducted Mahmoud Ibrahim Ali Awad, after preventing him from grazing his sheep, and subsequently transferring him to a detention center.
After invading several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron, soldiers broke into a commercial shop and confiscated many children’s toys.
Later, media sources reported that occupation forces stopped and searched a vehicle at the northern entrance to Hebron, abducted the child, Hadi Wael Skafi, 16, and detained his brother before releasing him.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that Israeli forces have abducted 640 children from the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
The PPS statement added that at least 250 Palestinian children under the age of 18 years old, remain in occupation prisons, many of those children who have been abducted have been subjected to torture at the hands of the occupation army.
