On Thursday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man with live rounds in the village of ‘Asira al-Qibliya, southwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Ambulance and Emergency Services in Nablus, said its ambulance crews transported a 19-year-old who sustained a live gunshot wound to the thigh.
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded the village on Thursday evening, leading to protests, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds towards unarmed citizens.
In related news, Palestine TV published a video showing occupation forces storming the village of Salem, east of the city; no abductions were reported.
