Israeli forces abducted eight residents of the southern West Bank city of Hebron and nearby villages during a search campaign on Thursday morning. Israeli troops attacked and searched Palestinian homes in the city of Hebron and in Yatta and Al Tabaka villages south of the city, and Al Aroup refugee camp north of the city. Eyewitnesses stated that soldiers forced families out of their homes during the search campaigns and ransacked the homes. Among those abducted were Monther Abu Atwan, 38, Ibarheem Abu Rass, 22 and his brother Mohamed, 30 all from Al Tabaka village. Ibraheem Murr, and Mohamed Al Jawabra, both 18 were taken from Yatta village. Palestinian sources have reported that the Israeli army invaded several West Bank areas on Thursday morning and abducted at least 20 civilians.
