On Monday, Day 360 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including children and women across the coastal enclave.
In Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced Palestinians, killing at least one and wounding many.
Also, medical sources have confirmed that at least thirteen Palestinians were killed, mostly children and women, and dozens injured, including many children and women, in addition to many who remain under the rubble, when the army fired missiles at two homes for the Abu Ataya and Abu Shmeis families in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
The army also fired a missile at a home for the Mizhir family, north of the Nusseirat refugee camp, killing six Palestinians and wounding many, including children and women.
In addition, the soldiers fired a missile at a home for the Odeini family in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, killing four Palestinians, including two children, 5 years of age, and a newborn, only seven months.
In Gaza City, the army fired a missile at a residential building near the Gold Market in Gaza’s Old City, killing four Palestinians, and wounding many, including children and women.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army killed at least one Palestinian, and caused many injuries, after firing a missile at displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of the city.
On Monday, the United Nations reported that “two-thirds of the buildings in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged” in the Gaza Strip, since October 2023.
The UN’s satellite center, UNOSAT, stated that high-resolution images collected on September 3 and 6 showed significant destruction.
UNOSAT explained, “This analysis shows that two-thirds of the total buildings in Gaza have been damaged, representing 66 percent of the 163,778 buildings in Gaza.”
UNOSAT estimated that 52,564 buildings have been destroyed, 18,913 buildings severely damaged, 35,591 buildings with structural damage, and 56,710 buildings with moderate damage.
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and UNOSAT reported that nearly 68% of crop fields in Gaza showed a significant decline in crop health and density in September.
Israel has now killed at least 41,615 Palestinians, including more than 16,859 children and 11,429 women, and injured more than 96,359, in addition to the thousands who remain missing, largely under the rubble or on destroyed streets and bombarded alleys, across the coastal enclave, since October 7, 2023.
