Following the three days of mourning after the Israeli assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, a barrage of rockets hit targets in Tel Aviv and other parts of Israel on Tuesday, simultaneous with a shooting attack in Tel Aviv that killed several Israelis.

The Israeli ‘Iron Dome’, which is a series of sites housing surface-to-air missiles meant to shoot down incoming rockets, was one of the first targets of the rocket attack.

One of the targets of the rockets was the Nevatim airbase in the Negev, in southern Israel. Another site that was hit was a gas terminal off the coast of Tel Aviv in the Mediterranean Sea.

According to the official Israeli radio, Iran launched more than 250 ballistic missiles within half an hour on Israel, and the Israeli Foreign Ministry called on residents to head to shelters.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it had begun striking important military targets, adding that any Israeli military response to this operation would be met with more destructive and stronger attacks.

In addition to the missile attack, there are reports from Tel Aviv of two men on a train shooting Israelis in what appears to be a mass casualty event, although details are still unclear.

Suppressed News reports at least 10 dead and 20 injured in the shooting attack in Tel Aviv.

According to War Noir, at least one of the attackers was armed with a 5.56x45mm NATO M4 pattern carbine with optical sight.
