On Wednesday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, and assaulted schoolchildren.

Media sources reported that the soldiers entered the town and positioned their jeeps in the ‘Tal’ area of the Old Town.

They fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the students as they were leaving their schools at the end of the school day. No injuries were reported.

The assault by Israeli forces caused anxiety attacks among the students, while the soldiers also chased several students.

Since the beginning of the current school year, Israeli forces have continuously harassed students as they leave their schools and afterward.

The school complex is located in the old town, adjacent to the segregated colonialist road and the illegal Annexation Wall.

Later, protests erupted around the Grand Mosque in the town, during which Israeli forces fired live rounds, gas bombs, and sound bombs at homes and citizens, and assaulted a young man.

In related news,  four Palestinians were injured when an Israeli military jeep rammed their car east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also Wednesday, Israeli forces abducted two Palestinian young men after assaulting them and assaulted another young man in the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.
