On Sunday, Israeli soldiers injured many schoolchildren in Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the soldiers invaded the school area in At-Tal in the Old City of Al-Khader and fired numerous gas bombs and concussion grenades as the children were leaving school to head home.
The sources added that the soldiers also chased many children along the main street, leading to the Al-Bawwaba area and various neighborhoods.
The soldiers fired gas bombs at schoolgirls while they were entering their school in the same area. Palestinian medics rushed to the area and treated the injured children for the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Jeet village, east of Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, and Silwan town, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
