On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in Faqqua village, east of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Media sources said several military vehicles invaded the village and closed intersections, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, wounding a young man with a live round in the arm.

The soldiers later withdrew from the village and headed towards the nearby Al-Jalama military roadblock.

In related news, the soldiers installed a roadblock near the main entrance of Kafr Laqif village, east of Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, stopped and searched dozens of vehicles and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
