On Monday dawn, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Kifl Hares and Deir Istiya towns, northwest of Salfit in the occupied West Bank’s central part, before detaining and interrogating many Palestinians.
Media sources said the soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes in Kifl Hares and interrogated more than twenty-five Palestinians in a home the army occupied to use as an interrogation facility.
They added that the soldiers also stormed and searched homes in Deir Istiya, detaining and interrogating at least six Palestinians, including three siblings identified as Jihad, Abdul-Rahman, and Amjad Nihad Abdullah, before releasing them.
It is worth mentioning that the army has recently escalated its invasions of various parts of the Salfit Governorate, including breaking into homes, abductions, and detentions of scores of residents.
During these invasions, the soldiers threatened the detainees and their families, in addition to causing serious property damage.
