Israeli forces killed eight Palestinians, including two women, on Tuesday, after several drone strikes targeted the Tulkarem refugee camp, and the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

At dawn Tuesday, Israeli sharpshooters shot and killed a Palestinian young man in the Tulkarem refugee camp in Tulkarem city; his body was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem.

Media sources said that undercover Israeli agents “Musta’ribeen” infiltrated the Tulkarem refugee camp, before large military reinforcements arrived and besieged the camp.

Many occupation vehicles stormed the camp, accompanied by a D-9 military bulldozer and two front-end loaders, amid the overhead flight of reconnaissance drones.

Sources added that the army positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of tall buildings, who opened fire with live rounds at everything that moved, shooting the young man, while soldiers prevented ambulance crews from reaching the critically injured man, and opened fire at ambulances.

Later the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the young man, Fathi Saeed Awda Obaid, 18, was killed by Israeli forces after sustaining a gunshot wound to the chest and abdomen.

Occupation bulldozers damaged vital infrastructure in several neighborhoods, including shops, and a mosque, as well destroying citizens’ private property, including homes and vehicles.

The camp’s water network was damaged, and there was a wide-spread power outage and disruption of internet communication and networks.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army, and targeted military vehicles with crude explosive devices, causing damage and at least one injury among the soldiers.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, Israeli forces carried out a drone strike against a group of citizens in the Al-Hamam neighborhood in the Tulkarem refugee camp, killing a woman and injuring three citizens.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the woman, Khawla Ali Abdullah Abdo, 53, was killed as a result of the drone strike on the Tulkarem camp; her body was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem.

Media sources said that three other citizens were injured as a result of the drone strike, including a 10-year-old child and a 29-year-old man who suffered serious injuries.

Faisal Salama, the head of the Popular Committee for Services in Tulkarem Camp, told the WAFA News Agency that the situation in the camp is extremely difficult.

Salama added that the occupation army expelled families from their homes and proceeded to detonate and burn homes in the vicinity.

Occupation bulldozers, later stormed the vicinity of the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem and began destroying the street adjacent to the camp’s entrance.

Later in the afternoon, the Health Ministry announced that the woman, Bara’a Khaled Hussein Abu Ali, 30, succumbed to severe head and chest injuries as a result of the drone strike against the Tulkarem refugee camp.

Furthermore, Israeli forces carried out two drone strikes in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem city, injuring several citizens, and imposed a tight siege of the camp.

Media sources said that the occupation bombed a site in the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq neighborhood in the center of the Nur Shams camp, and an area between the al-Manshiya and al-Shuhada neighborhoods.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its ambulance crews provided first aid to three citizens who sustained shrapnel injuries as a result of the bombing.

Moreover, on Tuesday night, occupation drones bombed, for the second time, the Al-Hamam neighborhood in the Tulkarem camp, killing four Palestinians, and injuring five others.

In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that four citizens were killed and five others were injured, one critically; they were all transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Government Hospital.

Late Tuesday night, a Palestinian young man succumbed to critical injuries he sustained during the Israeli bombing of the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem.

Media sources said that local residents found the body of the young man, Mahmoud Muhammad Khaled Amar, in the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq neighborhood in the Nur Shams refugee camp, hours after the drone strike.

The Arab 48 News website identified four slain young men as Imran Haroun, Jumaa Salem, Muhaimin Al-Akhras, and Qusay Akasha, after the Israeli military carried out a drone strike in the Al-Hamam neighborhood in the Tulkarem refugee camp.
