In the southern Gaza Strip, four citizens were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house near the Al-Qubba Mosque, west of Khan Younis.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that at least 74 children were killed in the first seven days of 2025, due to the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip, including attacks on a unilaterally designated safe zone.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell said in a post on the X platform that eight infants and newborns have died since December 26 due to hypothermia, while more than a million Gazan children live in temporary tents unable to withstand low temperatures.
“We have long warned that inadequate shelter, lack of access to nutrition and healthcare, dire health conditions and now winter weather are putting the lives of all children in Gaza at risk, with newborns and children with underlying health conditions particularly at risk,” she added.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of at least 45,936 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 109,274 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them .
