Israeli forces continued their violations across the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Saturday, abducting several Palestinians, injuring one resident with live fire, seizing property, and forcing a Jerusalemite businessman to demolish five commercial facilities, while illegal paramilitary colonizers carried out attacks in multiple Palestinian communities.
In Jenin Governorate in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Deir Abu Da’if, east of Jenin city, and abducted Mahmoud Khaled Yassin after breaking into his home.
Troops also invaded the town of Faqqu’a, east of Jenin, where they abducted four former political prisoners, identified as Nabil Salah, Harith Ma’sad, Bashir Ma’sad and Bilal Zohdi Omariya, after breaking into their homes and ransacking their contents.
In Faqqu’a, east of Jenin, media sources said local residents attempted to prevent colonizers who had brought livestock onto Palestinian-owned land from encroaching on their property. Israeli soldiers then opened fire, shooting one Palestinian in the foot.
Israeli forces also invaded the village of Zububa, west of Jenin, and the Al-Almaniya neighborhood east of Jenin city, where soldiers abducted Fadi Al-Hindi.
Additional invasions were reported in Jabal Abu Dhahir and the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, where troops broke into several homes, most belonging to former political prisoners.
During the invasions, soldiers abducted Yazan Mahmoud Jaradat after searching his family’s home.
Israeli forces also broke into and searched several homes in the village of Muthallath Ash-Shuhada, south of Jenin, although no further abductions were reported.
In Tubas Governorate in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted brothers Osama and Husni Ali Bani Odah after invading their family home in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas city. Soldiers also broke into and searched several homes across the area.
Meanwhile, troops invaded the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, deploying throughout the community before withdrawing without making arrests.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded Qalandia refugee camp and deployed along Al-Ma’had Street and surrounding areas before moving toward Airport Street in Kafr Aqab, north of the city. The soldiers later withdrew toward Al-Bireh in the central West Bank without carrying out abductions.
Israeli forces also invaded the Jabal At-Tawil neighborhood in Al-Bireh, along with Al-Am’ari and Qaddoura refugee camps in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, without reported abductions.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the villages of Dura Al-Qare’, north of Ramallah, and Deir Abu Mashal, northwest of Ramallah, deploying in several neighborhoods before withdrawing.
Soldiers also invaded Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, and fired tear gas canisters at residents, while Israeli bulldozers leveled Palestinian-owned land in the eastern and western sections of the village and reopened previously blocked roads to facilitate colonizer movement during attacks on the community.
Israeli paramilitary colonizers also fired live ammunition toward Palestinian youths who confronted them during the colonizers’ invasion of village lands.
Elsewhere in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, Israeli forces tightened restrictions at the Atara military roadblock, north of Ramallah, for several hours, obstructing Palestinian movement and causing severe traffic congestion.
In the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, Israeli colonizers attacked the outskirts of the community and threw stones at Palestinian homes and vehicles, damaging a vehicle owned by Ayoub Khader Rashid Nuwabit.
In Beitillu, west of Ramallah, a group of colonizers attacked the village and assaulted residents, wounding Mohammad Abu Radwan.
Local residents then confronted the colonizers on the outskirts of the town and forced them to leave.
In Bethlehem Governorate in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Tuqu’, Al-Ubeidiya, Dar Salah, Ash-Shawawra, and Za’tara.
Troops also established a military roadblock at the entrance to Za’tara, where they stopped and searched vehicles and checked identification documents, disrupting residents’ movement.
In Salfit Governorate in the central West Bank, Israeli soldiers seized a bulldozer belonging to a Palestinian resident from the town of Biddya while it was operating in the area.
Israeli colonizers also attacked Palestinian homes in the An-Nasba area of Yasuf village, east of Salfit, although no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers invaded Deir Ballut town, west of Salfit, and conducted searches before withdrawing.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli municipal authorities forced Jerusalemite resident Adham Tabash to demolish five commercial facilities he owned in the Wadi Al-Jouz industrial zone, threatening him with substantial financial penalties if municipal crews carried out the demolitions.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Tabash had already paid approximately 300,000 shekels in fines over recent years before being threatened with additional demolition-related charges amounting to tens of thousands of shekels. Facing mounting financial pressure, he was compelled to demolish the structures himself.
The demolished facilities included a carpentry workshop, a travel and tourism office, a motorcycle repair shop, a bakery, and other commercial property. The Jerusalem Governorate said the businesses provided livelihoods for dozens of Palestinian workers and their families.
The Jerusalem Governorate said the demolitions directly affected at least 200 Palestinians, including 75 children and 56 women, describing the measure as part of ongoing targeting of Palestinian economic activity in the Wadi Al-Jouz industrial area of occupied Jerusalem.
In the Gaza Strip, a pregnant woman and her fetus died, Saturday, as a result of being shot by the Israeli occupation forces, south of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
