An elderly man and a child were injured, at dawn on Saturday, during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the village of Marka, south of Jenin, while six Palestinian citizens were abducted during the storming of a number of towns and villages in the governorate.
Medical sources reported that a 68-year-old man suffered bruises to his back and chest, while a 14-year-old child suffered a fracture in his right hand after occupation forces stormed the village of Marka. They were treated at the Arraba Emergency Center.
In the village of Deir Abu Daif, the occupation forces abducted the young man, Mahmoud Khaled Yassin, after storming the village and raiding his house.
The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the town of Faqoua and abducted four Palestinian citizens, namely the freed prisoners Nabil Salah and Harith Masad, Bashir Masad, and Bilal Zahdi Mohammad Omriya, after raiding their homes and ransacking their property.
The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Jabal Abu Zaheer and the town of Silat al-Harithiya, and raided a number of homes, most of which belonged to freed prisoners, before withdrawing from the town.

He added that the Israeli occupation forces intervened and opened fire on the Palestinian land defenders, wounding one of them with a bullet in the foot, while a state of tension prevailed in the region, amid continuous provocations and attacks by the colonists.
Al-Omari pointed out that these attacks come in the context of continuous Israeli attempts to oppress the local Palestinian landowners and push them away from their lands, which threatens their sources of livelihood and prevents them from accessing their agricultural lands.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation municipality in Jerusalem forced Jerusalemite Adham Tabash to demolish five facilities and shops he owns in the industrial zone in Wadi al-Joz in occupied Jerusalem, after threatening to impose heavy fines if the municipality carried out the demolition.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported, in a press statement, that during the past years, Tabash was forced to pay about 300,000 shekels in fines, before the municipality threatened to impose tens of thousands of additional shekels on him instead of demolition costs, which forced him to demolish his facilities himself to avoid those fines.
She added that the targeted facilities include Manjara, a tourism and travel office, a motorcycle repair shop, and Farna, and constitute a source of livelihood for dozens of Jerusalemite workers and their families, which makes their demolition a direct threat to their sources of livelihood, in the context of the continued targeting of the industrial zone in Wadi al-Joz and the Palestinian economic facilities there.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out 71 demolition operations during August, affecting 155 facilities, including 47 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited homes, 33 facilities that constitute sources of livelihood, 61 agricultural facilities, and six other facilities. They also distributed 44 demolition notices targeting Palestinian facilities and property.
The demolitions directly damaged at least 200 citizens, including 75 children and 56 women.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces searched a number of homes in the village of the Martyrs’ Triangle, south of Jenin.
