An Israeli official source announced on Friday that the expansion of the illegal Israeli settlement of Har Houma near East Jerusalem reached a stage of submitting contracts to five construction companies to build 307 additional housing units over the coming three years.
The European Union and the United States criticized the Israeli decision to construct last December and the Palestinian Authority also denounced it.
