On the 716th day of the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, occupation forces continued their relentless bombardment of residential buildings and displacement camps, killing and injuring scores of civilians.

Medical sources confirmed that since dawn on Sunday, at least 31 Palestinians were killed in multiple attacks across the enclave. The Shifa Hospital received 26 bodies, while two were transferred to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (also known as the Baptist Hospital), one to Al-Awda Hospital, and three to Nasser Hospital.

They added that a woman was killed, and several Palestinians injured, in an Israeli bombing of Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza city.

Al-Awda Hospital also reported the death of a Palestinian civilian shot by Israeli forces in the Al-Mughraqa area, south of Gaza City.

In one of the day’s deadliest incidents, 15 people, including four children and five women, were killed when Israeli airstrikes targeted a residential block belonging to the Daghmash family in the Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City.

Civil defense teams confirmed that several individuals remain trapped beneath the rubble, with rescue operations still underway.

Among the victims were Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Abu Mohsen, his wife, and their child, who were killed when their home in Sabra was struck.

In a separate attack, five members of the Haddad family were killed when Israeli warplanes targeted an apartment near a junction in the Daraj neighborhood of central Gaza City. The victims were identified as Adel Abdul-Karim Haddad, his children Adel, Mohammad, and Mahmoud, and his wife Marwa Khader Haddad.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported one fatality and 21 injuries following Israeli shelling in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City.

Israeli forces also demolished several residential buildings in the same area, escalating the military campaign across densely populated zones.

In central Gaza, seven civilians were killed over the past 24 hours. In the south, 11 fatalities were reported, including three near a U.S.-supported aid distribution center.

Hospital sources in Gaza confirmed that at least 96 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the past 24 hours alone, including 81 in Gaza City.

The Ministry of Health reported that four Palestinians were killed and 18 injured while attempting to collect humanitarian aid, raising the total number of slain Palestinians while seeking food and humanitarian aid to 2,518 killed and more than 18,449 injured.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) described the scale of suffering and destruction in Gaza as “unimaginable,” noting that approximately 1.9 million people have been forcibly displaced.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres called the situation “the worst level of death and destruction” he has witnessed in his lifetime, urging the international community not to be intimidated by Israel’s actions.

UNRWA reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and address the deepening humanitarian catastrophe.

In addition, two additional deaths were attributed to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of such fatalities to 442, including 147 children. Since the IPC formally declared famine conditions in Gaza, 164 deaths have been recorded, among them 32 children.

According to Al Jazeera English, the fatalities followed a day in which Israeli forces killed 91 Palestinians across Gaza, as reported by medical sources. Among the victims were relatives of a well-known physician and four individuals traveling in a truck while attempting to escape northern Gaza City.

Eyewitness accounts from displaced residents described being pursued by Israeli quadcopters after being forced to evacuate their shelters in Gaza City.

From March 18, 2025, when Israel violated the ceasefire agreement, to the present, 12,653 Palestinians have been killed and 54,230 wounded.

The cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 65,208 killed and 166,271 injured, the majority of whom are children and women.
