Israeli occupation forces assaulted and abducted a young Palestinian man on Friday evening in the Bab al-Amoud area of occupied Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank, after the the soldiers attacked street vendors.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the victim—one of the local street vendors—was violently beaten and shoved while working, before being abducted by Israeli forces.

It added that the assault occurred during a punitive campaign led by Israeli municipal crews, accompanied by police units, targeting Palestinian vendors in the area.

The violation involved physical attacks on multiple vendors, the confiscation of their goods, and their forcible removal from the vicinity.

In addition, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian man and his son late Friday night during a military invasion of the town of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Furthermore, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men with live rounds near Ramallah in the central West Bank, and abducted two brothers in the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.

Also on Friday, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of the children, Mohammad Abdullah Tayyem (16 years old) and Mohammad Rashad Fadel Qassem (16 years old), after they were gunned down by Israeli forces in the village of Al-Juneira, north of occupied Jerusalem.
