The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported Wednesday that Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out systematic arrest campaigns and field interrogations in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part , with escalating brutality and scope.

The interrogations were accompanied by severe physical abuse, widespread destruction of household belongings, theft of money and gold jewelry, confiscation of vehicles and electronic devices, and the conversion of homes into military outposts.
PPS also documented the use of civilians as human shields and the distribution of leaflets containing direct threats against residents.
The PPS described the level of violence inflicted by Israeli soldiers during abductions as “unprecedented,” targeting all segments of Palestinian society—including children, women, and the elderly.
