Three Palestinians, including two children, were killed by Israeli forces on Saturday, as Israel continues its illegal takeover of more than half of the land of the Gaza Strip and the ongoing destruction of civilian homes and infrastructure.

A father from the Gaza Strip lost his only son and his nephew in an Israeli airstrike while they were collecting firewood near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

“Call the doctor to wake him up, please. He’s my only Son, he doesn’t leave me.”

Two children were killed Saturday afternoon in an Israeli airstrike on the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.

Wafa news reported, citing medical sources, that the two children, Muhammad and Suleiman Al-Zouraa, were killed as a result of an Israeli occupation drone bombing around Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

With the killing of the two children, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 483, the total number of injuries to 1,313, and 713 bodies have been recovered.

Also, an Israeli occupation bombing in the southern Gaza Strip killed one Palestinian.

Medical sources reported the killing of the young man Nour Farid Abu Sitta (26 years old) as a result of a drone bombing south of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

In addition, a Palestinian was injured by a bullet to the head fired by an Israeli drone, “Quad Captain”, near the western roundabout in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian ex-detainee Atiyah Hasan Abu Samhadana has died after spending 30 years in Israeli occupation prisons. Abu Samhadana was released in the latest prisoner exchange deal. He died inside a displacement tent in the Gaza Strip, as a complication of conditions from his imprisonment.

A number of citizens were injured, Saturday morning, by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in Khan Yunis, while bombing and shooting were renewed in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

At least one Palestinian citizen was injured by occupation forces’ bullets in the center of Khan Yunis, while a number of others were injured in the occupation’s bombing of Old Gaza Street in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Ealier this afternoon, Israeli occupation drones fired live ammunition at Palestinians in northern Gaza.

Renewed gunfire from Israeli occupation vehicles east of the city, which is constantly subjected to direct gunfire and targeting.

There was also renewed shooting by the Israeli occupation warplanes towards the city of Rafah. Meanwhile, occupation artillery targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces also detonated a booby-trapped robot in Al Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

On Saturday, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that the education of Palestinian refugees has been subjected to increasing attacks over the past few years.

Lazzarini wrote that on the International Day of Education, more than 600,000 children in Gaza have been deprived of formal education for more than two years, noting that these children are living in deep trauma amidst the rubble, and that returning them to a safe educational environment is a top priority for UNRWA.

Lazzarini explained that there are currently 65,000 children in UNRWA’s temporary learning spaces in Gaza, in addition to nearly 300,000 other children receiving basic lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic via digital platforms.
