Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, breaking into homes, deploying large numbers of military vehicles, and abducting several Palestinians during operations that extended from the northern districts to the central and southern regions.

In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Jayyous, northeast of Qalqilia, where soldiers broke into several homes and conducted searches amid a heavy military presence.

In the northern West Bank city of Jenin, troops invaded the Jabal Abu Thahir area, accompanied by additional military movements inside the city and its surrounding neighborhoods.

The soldiers also closed the al-Jalama military roadblock near the city and restricted movement in the area.

In the central West Bank district of Salfit, soldiers invaded the town of Bidya west of the governorate and searched multiple homes.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city through the Huwwara military roadblock to the south and the 17 military roadblock to the north, before deploying around the western side of the Old City, including the Fatimiyya, Falasteen, and Ghirnata streets.

Local sources reported that the soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including two from inside the Old City: former political prisoner Tareq Jaber and Diya’ Abu Thahir. Troops also interrogated several residents in the streets and conducted field questioning.

The army further invaded the Ein refugee camp west of Nablus, broke into a home, searched it extensively, and abducted former political prisoner Emad al-Masimi before withdrawing.

Earlier in the morning, soldiers also invaded the area surrounding the Fatimiyya School in central Nablus.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian Detainees Media Center reported that Israeli forces abducted 21 Palestinians overnight, including many former detainees, in Qalqilia and Nablus, and added that the soldiers also interrogated dozens of residents.
