The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Saturday that five Palestinians were killed and fifteen others injured over the past forty‑eight hours, as rescue teams continue to struggle to reach victims trapped under the rubble due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment and destruction of infrastructure.

The Ministry confirmed that among the fatalities were four killed Palestinians in Israeli attacks, and one whose body was recovered from beneath the debris.

Since the declared “ceasefire” on October 11, 2025, the cumulative toll has reached 850 Palestinians killed and 2,433 injured, with 770 bodies recovered from under the rubble.

The Ministry further stated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,736, while the number of wounded has reached 172,535.

It added that several victims remain unrecovered in streets and collapsed buildings, as civil defense and ambulance crews face severe obstacles in accessing affected areas.

The Health Ministry also confirmed that 103 additional fatalities were recently added to the cumulative statistics after their data were verified and officially recognized by the Committee for the Accreditation of Martyrs earlier this month.

Health officials warned that the continuing Israeli bombardment and destruction of medical facilities have severely hindered rescue operations and emergency care, leaving many victims without timely medical assistance.
