Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple invasions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, assaulting Palestinians, breaking into homes, abducting residents, and imposing movement restrictions in several towns and neighborhoods.
In the Jaber neighborhood of Hebron in the southern West Bank, a young man was injured after Israeli soldiers invaded the home of Ramzi Jaber.
A large number of heavily armed soldiers broke into the house, dragged Jaber outside, and repeatedly beat him until he lost consciousness.
After detaining him for four hours, the soldiers released him. Resident Aref Jaber said the neighborhood has been under military lockdown since Friday, with colonizers attacking homes under army protection.
He added that colonizers assaulted the family of Atef Jaber, beat several relatives, and that Israeli forces abducted Atef and his son Abdullah while also detaining several residents, including women, inside the neighborhood.
In Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted two brothers, Arafat and Hasan Abdul‑Rahim Farahna, after stopping the vehicle they were traveling in at the village entrance.
Israeli forces also invaded the village of al‑Mughayyer and the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah. Local sources reported that soldiers fired tear‑gas canisters during the invasion of al‑Mughayyer, though no injuries or abductions were reported.
In Turmus Ayya, military vehicles patrolled the streets without conducting home invasions. Meanwhile, colonizers gathered on the road between al‑Mughayyer and Abu Falah and attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones, causing damage but no injuries.
The soldiers also invaded several Palestinian towns in occupied Jerusalem, including Al-Isawiya and Silwan in the city, and the town of Al-Jeep, northwest of Jerusalem.
In Bal’a, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, a 13‑year‑old child was injured after Israeli soldiers beat him during an invasion of the town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medics received the child from Israeli forces after he was assaulted.
Soldiers invaded the town, deploying military vehicles and foot patrols across the eastern neighborhood and town center, conducting wide‑ranging searches, and severely hindering residents’ movement.
Israeli forces also invaded the towns of Deir al‑Ghusoun, Illar, Attil, and Qaffin in the Sha’rawiya area north of Tulkarem. Soldiers spread throughout the main streets and residential areas, blocked traffic, stopped several residents for field interrogation, and fired concussion grenades during the invasion.
These incidents reflect a continued escalation of Israeli military invasions and colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank, marked by assaults, abductions, home invasions, and restrictions on civilian movement.
