Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday evening when an Israeli military Apache helicopter fired missiles at a group of civilians inside the Gaza fishermen’s port west of Gaza City.
Medical teams at the Shifa Hospital confirmed the arrival of two slain Palestinians and multiple wounded from the targeted area.
Local reporters said the helicopter fired several rounds directly at civilians gathered inside the fishermen’s port, west of Gaza city.
Al‑Jazeera Arabic reported that the strike occurred during intense aerial activity, with drones and warplanes circling low over western Gaza City.
Civil defense crews struggled to reach the wounded due to continued fire in nearby areas and the presence of additional aircraft overhead.
Throughout the evening, Israeli forces carried out multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip. Helicopters opened fire toward northern Gaza, causing widespread panic among residents and damaging structures near the targeted sites.
In the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City, a quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on a group of civilians near Dawla Junction, wounding several people, some of them critically, the Arabs48 news website said.
Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of Al‑Hattabiyya Street in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, while warplanes and drones continued to fly at low altitude.
Al‑Jazeera English reported additional shelling in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, forcing families to flee deeper into Gaza City.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said Israeli artillery struck the Al‑Maslakh area west of Gaza City and farmland near Juhor ed‑Deek east of the city, causing property damage.
Quds News Network reported that the helicopter fire in northern Gaza triggered mass panic among displaced families sheltering in makeshift tents. Several fishing boats and storage structures near the port were damaged, and fires broke out in the vicinity of the strike.
The Israeli army advanced into residential areas and opened fire directly on civilians, forcing families to flee, leaving behind their homes, belongings, and everything they owned in a desperate attempt to survive.

Civil defense teams faced difficulty extinguishing the flames due to ongoing aerial activity and repeated bursts of fire.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said that since the declared “ceasefire” on October 11, 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza has risen to 930, with 2,819 wounded and 781 bodies recovered from destroyed areas.
The ministry added that during the days of Eid al‑Adha alone, hospitals received 33 slain Palestinians and more than 130 injuries.
The Health Ministry stated that since October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll of the genocide in Gaza has reached 72,939 Palestinians killed and 172,927 injured.
