Israeli occupation authorities issued a new set of military orders on Thursday targeting extensive areas of agricultural land across the Jenin district in the northern occupied West Bank, including directives to uproot trees and vegetation from hundreds of dunams and an additional order to seize land in the town of Marka.
According to the published orders, Israeli forces issued six military directives requiring the removal of olive trees and other vegetation from 310.868 dunams of Palestinian land.
The targeted areas include 51.26 dunams from Ya’bad at the town’s main entrance, 66.698 dunams from Arraba along the Arraba–Ya’bad road, 32.21 dunams from Arraba at its main entrance, 52.44 dunams from Arraba along the Jenin–Nablus Road, 71.81 dunams from Arraba along the Jenin–Nablus Road opposite Fahma town, and 36.45 dunams from the towns of Anza and Ajjah.
In a separate decision, Israeli authorities issued a military order to seize 3.536 dunams of land belonging to the town of Marka in the Al‑Hafira area.
These measures reflect a continued escalation in Israeli actions targeting agricultural areas in the Jenin district, including the uprooting of trees, removal of vegetation, and seizure of farmland.
Local farmers say the orders threaten productive agricultural zones and inflict direct harm on livelihoods, property, and long‑standing cultivation patterns across the region.
