On Friday evening, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man south of Khan Younis in the southern part of the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip. Occupation soldiers also shot a woman with live rounds in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, reported that it received the body of Ibrahim Mohammad Kawara, 29, on Friday evening, adding that he was shot by Israeli forces with live ammunition.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the body was recovered with his hands and feet bound, in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the Israeli army announced that its forces shot a Palestinian man, whom they claimed crossed the so-called “yellow line” and approached the soldiers in the southern Gaza Strip.

The army statement added that Israeli soldiers “fired and neutralized him to remove the threat,” without identifying the nature of the purported threat.

Meanwhile, the army announced that its forces abducted a Palestinian citizen in the central Gaza Strip, after he allegedly approached the soldiers while being in possession of a knife.

The army also claimed that the young man is a member of Hamas but failed to provide his identity.

Occupation tanks fired artillery shells near the Al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza, Rafah and Khan Younis in the south, and Gaza City in the north.

At midnight Friday night, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian woman with live ammunition near Al-Da’wa Street, northeast of the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while a quadcopter fired live rounds west of Jabalia camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

In the same context, a Palestinian child sustained injuries after an Israeli ordnance exploded near Al-Safatawi, north of Gaza City in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Since the so-called ceasefire was signed on October 10, 2025, Israel has killed at least 1,283 Palestinians and wounded 4,248 others in the Gaza Strip, in direct violation of the ceasefire.
