The Palestinian Authority condemns attack in Tel Aviv and Israel says Palestinian groups in Gaza are planning another attack, these stories and more coming up, stay tuned.
The Palestinin Authority condemned all kinds of escalation against civilians in the West Bank and Gaza including the attack which took place in Tel Aviv on Monday after Midnight. The PA said in a press release issued Monday that it condemns the ongoing invasions of different West Bank cities and the kidnapping of Palestinian civilians.
Israeli sources said that a Palestinian man hit a number of Issraelis in a stolen taxi in Tel Aviv and stepped out of the car and stapped some other wounding eight Israelis.
The police who were heavily spread in the area managed to sieze the man and took him into custody. The assailent is said to be from the West Bank city of Nablus.
On the other hand, Israeli military officials said that the cell that carried out the attack on Israeli military bus on route 12 in southern Israel is not the only one that is operating in that area. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz said in it online edition that Israeli high ranking officers are advised not to use route 12 saying that another group in Gaza is planning an attack similar to the attack on August 18 which claimed the lives of 15 people.
In this regard, Israeli military has boosted its presence in the southern desert and also is installing more of the Iron Dome system in the region.
In the meantime, Israeli settlers vandalized Palestinian property in Beit Ummar, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Monday.
A number of Israeli settlers form Beit Ayn illegal settlement uprooted and chainsaw a large number of trees that belong to Hammad Al-Tibi and his brothers, said Mohammad Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in the area.
Awad also said that Israeli soldiers did not act to stop the settlers, however, they prevented the farmers from reaching their land to stop the settlers, adding that farmers have not been allowed to farm their land for the past two weeks.
In local news, the deposed government in Gaza released today 10 prisoners from Fatah movement as a good-will guesture in support of the reconciliation process between Fatah and Hamas, said a press release by the Hamas-led government on Monday.
The government has also released 150 convicts because of the end of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.
