Israeli soldiers arrested three Palestinians in Hebron, at dawn, in the southern part of the West Bank, and four children in the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia. Soldiers broke into and searched several homes before detaining the residents.The Palestine News & Info Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers invaded al-Sammoa’ town, south of Hebron, and arrested Khalil Mohammad al-Hawamda, after violently breaking into his home and searching it.
Troops also invaded Doura town, south west of Hebron, and removed two residents identified as Ibrahim Harbiyyat and Mohammad Jamil Jadallah.
Furthermore the army invaded Azzoun town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and arrested four children identified as Qusai Shaher Salim, Rashad Raed Shbeita, Ehab Taleb Mashal, and Ibrahim Ahmad Enaya, all 17 years old.
In related news, soldiers invaded the nearby town of Amateen, broke into and searched two homes. Haitham Suwwan, head of the Amateen Village Council, told WAFA that soldiers broke into two homes and violently searched them causing damage. Military dogs used by the army caused further damage to the homes belonging to Abdul-Rahman Meetani and Abdul-Salam Mahmoud Meetani.
In addition to these attacks carried out by the Israeli military, Israeli Navy boats opened fire, on Thursday morning, at a number of Palestinian fishing boats at the Gaza Sea. No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
