Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the Jenin refugee camp, and the towns of Borqeen, Al-Hashmiyya, and Kafreet, before breaking into and searching several homes; clashes were reported.Local sources reported that more than ten armored military vehicles invaded the Jenin refugee camp and fired rounds of live ammunition into the air–an issue that led to clashes between the soldiers and dozens of youths who hurled stones and empty bottles at the invading army.
The sources added that the army also invaded Jenin city, and drove into its streets for several hours; no arrests or clashes were reported.
Furthermore the soldiers invaded the nearby towns of Borqeen, Al-Hashmiyya, and Kafreet, and fired flares before conducting searches in olive orchards that belong to the villagers in the area.
Israeli soldiers conduct daily invasion into the occupied West Bank, and conduct arrests nearly on a daily basis.
On Sunday, Israeli soldiers and policemen invaded Silwan town in occupied East Jerusalem, broke into and searched several homes, and kidnapped several residents.
The army carried out dozens of invasions into Silwan this month, and kidnapped more that 15 youths.
