[Wednesday, December 18, 2013] Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded Silwan town and the Old City, of occupied East Jerusalem, kidnapping five Palestinians, including three children.Local sources have reported that dozens of soldiers have invaded the Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city, and kidnapped Mohammad Al-‘Awar, 15, Mustafa Shihada, 17, Ahmad Odah, 17, and Fadi Rajaby, 19, and taken them to a nearby interrogation facility.
Furthermore, soldiers invaded Silwan town, and kidnapped Ahmad Hdeib, 25.
Nasser Qous, head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that occupied Jerusalem is facing a large-scale campaign that includes invasions targeting several neighborhoods in the occupied city.
Qous added that the Israeli military violations also include attacks against children and teenagers, following the latest clashes that took place after dozens of soldiers and settlers invaded the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, kidnapping and assaulting several Palestinians.
“Israel is making up charges against the kidnapped Palestinians, denies them the right to legal representation”, Qous said, “More arrests are very likely as the Israeli violations are ongoing, targeting not only the people, but their lands, property and holy sites”.
Two more Palestinians have also been kidnapped in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, after the army invaded the city and Al-Ein refugee camp, in the city.
Late on Tuesday at night, dozens of soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, violently broke into and searched two homes.
Palestinian security sources said that the soldiers invaded the homes of Mohammad Abdul-Fattah Saba’na and Ali Hussein Abu Ja’ab, and interrogated the families, there.
