Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday evening, at least two Palestinian communities in occupied East Jerusalem, and clashed with local youth. Many Palestinians were injured, one kidnapped.Local sources have reported that Israeli soldiers invaded Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood and assaulted a young Palestinian man, causing cuts and bruises to several parts of his body.
The soldiers also blocked one of the main roads of Wadi al-Jouz and fired gas bombs, concussion grenades and dozens of flares.
Eyewitnesses told the Maan News Agency that the Israeli military trucks sprayed several Palestinian homes and cars with sewage water.
The army also invaded Ein al-Louza neighborhood, firing several concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets before closing its main road.
Medical sources said resident Taha Ibrahim Abu Khdeir was injured after a number of soldiers struck him with batons and their rifle-butts.
Meanwhile, a number of local youth hurled Molotov cocktails at the “light train” in the area, after the soldiers attacked a number of residents.
