Israeli navy escalate attacks on Gaza Fishermen, and soldiers invade West Bank communities and kidnap ten civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli navy boats fired, on Wednesday morning, rounds of live ammunition on a number of Palestinian fishing boats, in territorial waters in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses said the navy attacked the fishing boats close to the shore, causing excessive damage, and forcing the fishers to sail back to the shore.
The Israeli navy frequently attacks Palestinian fishers and their boats in Gaza territorial waters, and in many cases while on shore.
The attacks led to excessive damage, in addition to scores of casualties and arrests. On Monday morning, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen’s boats in the Gaza Strip, this time off the coasts of Sudaniyya, and Khan Younis.
Also in Gaza, Four armored Israeli military bulldozers, and a tank, invaded an area east of the Rafah district, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and headed towards areas south of Rafah.
Media sources in Gaza said the Israeli vehicles came from the Sofa Israeli military base, across the border fence, east of Rafah, and advanced a few hundred meters into the territory.
The sources added that several armored vehicles were deployed close to the border fence, while military engineers conducted maintenance work on the electric fence with the coastal region.
Elsewhere, Israeli soldiers invaded, earlier on Wednesday, several communities in the occupied West Bank, broke into dozens of homes and searched them, and kidnapped at least Palestinians, including four teenagers.
The Israeli military said the arrests were focused in the Central West Bank district of Ramallah, and the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and that all arrested Palestinians were moved to a number of interrogation facilities.
