Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Monday evening, three Palestinians from the al-Yamoun town, the Jenin refugee camp, and Qabatia town, in the northern West bank district of Jenin, after stopping them on three military roadblocks.Media sources in Jenin said the soldiers have kidnapped Watheq Mohammad Sharqiyya, 22, from the al-Yamoun town, after stopping him on the Za’tara military roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
The soldiers also installed a sudden roadblock on the Jenin-Nablus road, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and kidnapped Nidal Ribhi Shalabi, 23, from the Jenin refugee camp.
In addition, the soldiers kidnapped a young man, identified as Rabea’ Ehab ad-Deehan, from Qabatia town, south of Jenin, after stopping him on the Huwwara military roadblock, south of Nablus.
On Monday at night, the soldiers kidnapped an elderly Palestinian man, and a child, only twelve years of age, in two separate invasions in occupied East Jerusalem, and fired live rounds that struck electricity cable, causing a power blackout.
The soldiers violently searched several homes, causing property damage, and interrogated the families.
